FlowJo is a powerful off-line cytometry data analysis software program. It can analyze all flow cytometry data files in FCS format, and is compatible with both Mac and Windows systems. Capabilities of the software are as follows:
- Standard Data analysis (dot plots, histograms, etc)
- Statistics
- Compensation
- Cell Cycle
- Kinetics (Calcium Flux)
- Proliferation (CFSE)
- and more…
FlowJo is a stand alone program and can be used without being connected to a flow cytometer.
We currently have two copies of the program available in dongle (USB) format: one that may be signed-out, and another that is available for use on a workstation in the anteroom of JH029. A copy of the FlowJo program can be downloaded at http://www.flowjo.com/home/download.html - again, both Mac and Windows downloads are available – or a copy is available on CD.

The maximum sign-out time for the traveling dongle is: 24 hours
The maximum appointment time on the FlowJo workstation is: 2 hours

A very important note: If the dongle is lost or damaged, a cost recovery fee will be assessed. The current cost of a replacement FlowJo dongle is $1,495.
